QuickBooks Unable to verify financial institution appears when QuickBooks is not able to identify the specific bank ID.
QuickBooks Unable to verify financial institution error pops up with the message:“QuickBooks is not able to verify the financial institution information for the given download. Please try again later”.
Causes:

QuickBooks does not accept
Bank ID.
●
.QBO was not created
properly.
● .QBO files were built from CSV or excel files.
How to get QuickBooks Unable to verify financial institution error resolved?
Solution 1: Open QuickBooks in excel/notepad
●
Choose the line
“20-<INTUIT.BID>2002.
●
Proceed to change the last
4 digits to 3000.
●
Save these changes.
● Upload that file in the QuickBooks.
Temporary Solution:
Find Fidir.txt and open the file in the
notepad.
Find the bank’s name in the ‘MB
financial’ and you will see the 4 sets of numbers, which appear in the format
“XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX”.
Open the .QBO file and search for <FID>, <BANKID> and change the number which is there next to the characters with the number given in FIDIR.
